It's a growing trend across the country, but could it make its way to Texas? Marijuana use, for medical purposes, was legalized in one state and the District of Columbia this year alone. And some North Texans are pushing for the same thing here.
Medicinal marijuana is already allowed in 14 states and the Washington, D.C. Now an interesting group of people want North Texans to have the right to 'toke it up'.
"I'm all for the legalization and regulation of that narcotic," said Officer Nick Novello, who is a member of the organization Law Enforcement Against Prohibition (LEAP).
